London Couple Shoots | 2023 | Will Fuller Photography

As I mentioned in my previous blog post (Best of 2023) I have decided to split my couple shoots and weddings into two separate posts. Purely so I can include more pictures and not have to spend nearly as long narrowing the numbers down! Here’s the couple shoots.

I was lucky enough to once again work with tons of lovely couples in 2023. It’s become one of my favourite things to do; meeting people from all over the world, all with interesting stories to tell, whilst exploring the most beautiful city. Obviously there’s a lot of repetition with the big landmarks, but I think I will always enjoy visiting the Houses of Parliament, and Tower Bridge, etc. But have also visited lots of less well travelled parts of London. New favourites being Hampstead, and Greenwich. Incredible places to explore.

Having professional pictures taken is an inherently strange experience, I think. Especially in the company of a stranger (me!) in often an unfamiliar setting for those just visiting London. So I have really leant into making it as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I want my shoots to feel like a wander around the city with a friend, rather than a professional formal photoshoot.

I feel like I got fairly lucky with the weather in 2023. Not too many rainy shoots, however I do always tell couples that it can actually be a good thing! You can have all the popular spots to yourself whilst everyone else hides in pubs and coffeeshops, and I feel like the lights of the city look fantastic reflected in puddles and the shiny streets. You’ll see a couple of examples below. I’m always on the hunt for a puddle for a cool reflection shot!
